BSN Program
On October 13, 2011, USD Nursing was granted the authority by the SD Board of Regents (BOR) to offer a pre-licensure four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in Vermillion, Sioux Falls, and Rapid City.
The University of South Dakota began offering a four-year BSN degree in the fall of 2012. This program is in response to the State and national need for wider access to advanced degrees in nursing to ensure that students are well-educated and prepared to meet the increasingly complex demands of the healthcare professions.
