Nursing classes are held on the main campus with opportunities for students to be involved in other campus activities and organizations.  Students participate in interdisciplinary healthcare learning activities with other health majors within the School of Health Sciences.  Students learn and practice nursing skills in the recently remodeled Nursing Center for Instruction and Simulation.  The Center utilizes state of art technology with manikins and equipment for instructors and students to simulate patient care.  The Nursing clinicals provide patient care in area healthcare facilities.  This includes a variety of experiences in both rural and urban facilities (Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center and Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls.)
