Bio:
Dr. Carla Dieter, Chair of USD Nursing Department, has a wide range of clinical experience including 14 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has had extensive leadership, curriclum, and teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate education. Dr. Dieter has coordinated faculty teams in the development, delivery, and evaluation of undergraduate and graduate curriculums. She is a leader in efforts at USD and the state of SD to strengthen the partnership between education and practice by incorporating Interprofessional Education (IPE) in health care curricula
