Bio:
2009-MSN (Emphasis in Health Systems and Nursing Administration) earned from the University of NE Medical Center.
1997-BSN University of NE Medical Center.
Private sector experience was in rural health care. Governmental setting experience has been primary care, emergency department, research coordination, research administration, nurse manager and associate chief nurse.
Teaching Interests:
Nursing leadership, quality management, ethics, and nursing management (including coaching and mentoring). I am also interested in Community Nursing relative to vulnerable populations.
Research Interests:
I am interested in the area of working conditions for nurses, improved scheduling and staffing methodologies, and nurse to nurse incivility. I am also interested in vulnerable populations in rural/frontier rural settings and Veterans.
