Bio:
I have been a nursing instructor in the ADN program at USD since 2008. I graduated with a Master of Science in nursing education in May 2012. My clinical practice areas of expertise are medical/surgical, geriatric, and psychiatric nursing.
Teaching Interests:
My teaching interests include medical/surgical nursing, dimensional analysis, and clinical education.
Research Interests:
Clinical nursing education evidence-based teaching strategies; Evaluating clinical judgment in the clinical learning environment; Preparing the staff nurse for the preceptor or adjunct instructor role.
