ASN Nursing Admission Procedures

Apply to USD
  • USD Application
  • In order to be considered for the Nursing program, you must be accepted to USD by January 1st for fall admission or July 1st for spring admission
Apply to the Associate Degree of Nursing (submit application to the program campus you wish to attend)
  • Deadlines
    • Fall Admission
      • February 1st:  All Campuses:  Pierre, Rapid City, Sioux Falls, Vermillion and Watertown
    • Spring Admission
      • August 1st:  Rapid City and Sioux Falls
  • Enrollment at each campus is limited. Application materials received after the deadlines will be considered on a space-available basis
  • Download and complete the Nursing Application Packet.  The application packet includes:
    • Application
    • Physical and Mental Requirements Form
    • Plan of Study
    • Three Reference Forms
  • Submit unofficial transcripts with Nursing application
    • If you are a current USD student you may print an unofficial transcript from Web Advisor.
    • Students not enrolled at USD must supply unofficial transcripts from ALL previous colleges attended
  • Return the applications and unofficial transcripts to the Nursing campus you are applying to:
