To be eligible for the Transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy (t-DPT), you must meet the following requirements:

1. Possess a current license to practice Physical Therapy
2. Graduate of a Physical Therapy program accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Physical Therapist Education (CAPTE) or foreign trained with current PT licensure in the United States (in good standing)
3. Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7
4. Meet one of the following:
5. 1. Hold a Certificate in Physical Therapy plus a Bachelor's degree in select field plus 20 years of experience in the field of PT
      -OR-
   2. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy plus 10 years experience in the field of PT
      -OR-
   3. Possess a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy plus two years of experience in the field of PT

  **Students accepted into the t-DPT program will need to complete a background check.  A log-in will be provided by the Graduate School upon provisional acceptance into the program.
