Didactic Phase
Overview
- 44 Credit hours taught over 12 months
- Taught at the main campus of USD in Vermillion
- Courses in basic and clinical sciences, including full dissection human anatomy course
- Introduction to clinical medicine at local hospitals and clinics
- Several courses are interdisciplinary to teach teamwork with other students in medicine, physical therapy and occupational therapy
