Revolutions within revolutions have occurred throughout history. The Underground Railroad was a revolution against United States slavery system. The Russian Revolution was a revolution against the old regime and consisted of many different revolutions occurring about the same time. The Danish Resistance Movement was a revolution against the Nazi forces that occupied Denmark during World War II. Although these three examples of revolutions under cover occurred at different times and at different places, they are examples of underground resistance forces working to achieve a common goal. They are all intertwined through their secrets and under the cover of quilts. As new revolutions occur, new resistance movements form continuing the Cover of Revolution in many countries today.
