Flemming Muus
Flemming Muus was trained by the
British Special Operations
Executive (SOE) to lead the British supported Danish Resistance. He was
parachuted into Denmark in March 1943 (Sutherland 136). Muus, the SOE's
representative on the Freedom Council, planned many of the joint group
sabotage and resistance activities(Britain and European Resistance 130).
He went through neutral Sweden to get and receive messages from SOE
headquarters in England. Muus's work united the Danish resistance
movements making it a stronger force.
Muus married Danish Resistance fighter Varinka de Wichfeld
(Sutherland 206).
