Lenin began to gain support with his ideas of class structure and his thoughts on the need to rid the Russian government of corruption with his principles of socialism. The workers of peasants and the intellectuals should control Russia by his standards. He believed this until he gained power in October of 1917. Overnight the Bolsheviks turned from a revolutionary group into a governing party. This came to great unrest and uprising against the unexpected governing Bolsheviks. Gavriil Il'ich Miasnikov (biography) stood up to the new implementation, and soon many followed.
