Individuals with a demonstrated talent in the visual arts and an interest in American Indian culture, with a preference given to American Indian high school juniors and seniors from South Dakota. When space allows, students from outside South Dakota, American Indian college freshmen, and non-Indian students with a serious interest in American Indian culture and art may be accepted. Participants and their parents/guardians must sign an agreement to abide by The University of South Dakota and Oscar Howe Summer Art Institute policies. |
