Major General Lloyd R. Moses, Director (1967-1974)

Under contruction, research continues

On June 21, 1967, Major General Lloyd R. Moses was appointed Acting Director of the Indian Community Action Project and on July 1, 1967, he also assumed duties as Director of the Institute of Indian Studies.

For a detailed but succinct summary General Moses's youth and career, see his autobiography entitled Whatever It Takes: The Autobiography of General Lloyd R. Moses, printed by Dakota Press, Vermillion, South Dakota, in 1991.

General Moses lives in Vermillion today and is quite active in his chosen pursuits.
