Welcome to International Student Services at The University of South Dakota!
Our Mission:
The International Student Services Office at The University of South Dakota is committed to facilitating a smooth transition for International Students to life in the United States. Our mission is to provide extraordinary services International Students desire from inquiry through graduation and beyond while promoting personal growth and helping them achieve the goals that brought them to The U.
With approximately 150 students coming from over 30 countries, the International Student Services Office strives to offer exceptional assistance to prospective and current students.
What does the ISSO do for international students?

Provides assistance to students interested in coming to The U including information about admissions, visas, and life in Vermillion.

Provides assistance to students currently studying at The U, including information about immigration regulations and services at The U.

Provides assistance to USD Departments advising and hiring international students, including information on registration requirements.
