International Admissions - Graduate

The following items must be submitted before an application for admission can be evaluated:

1.

US $35.00 Application Fee

Official Financial Ability Form.  International students must be self-supporting. No loans or grants are available through the U or the United States government. Small, limited scholarships are available depending upon the application/award criteria. Foreign students should check with their home governments to see if assistance is available for study abroad. United States permanent residents/resident aliens may apply for financial aid through USD. IMPORTANT: SEND THIS FORM WITH YOUR ORIGINAL BANK STATEMENT (see #4).

Original Financial Documents. (Original bank statement showing amount of cost to attend the U. If statement is not your personal bank statement, a letter from the person owning the bank account is necessary indicating that person will be sponsoring you.)

5.

Original TOEFL Score Report.  Must be proficient in English [TOEFL score of at least 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer), or 79 (Internet-based); or IELTS score of 6.0 or higher].

6.

Two Official Transcripts of all University/College level academic work. All transcripts must be evaluated by ECE or WES.

7.

GRE, GMAT, MCAT, or LSAT Score Report.

Photocopy of Green card for Permanent Residents. If you are a permanent resident, attach a photocopy (front and back) of your I-551 (Green Card).

Transfer from Foreign College or University:

Students who have earned college/university credit outside of the U.S. must complete an Application for Evaluation of Foreign Educational Credentials. An application must be completed and submitted with the required documents and fee for a "course-by-course" Report to Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc (ece.org) or World Education Services (wes.org). Admission will not be considered and credit will not be reviewed for possible transfer acceptance until a report is received.
