Joint Degree Program

Joint Degree seeking students must apply and be accept to both the School of Law and the Graduate School.

Apply to USD Law

The School of Law has partnered with nine graduate programs on the USD campus to bring students the opportunity to pursue a Master’s Degree concurrently with a J.D. Each of these joint programs will earn the student a J.D. and a Master’s Degree upon graduation and can be completed in the same three years as a J.D. Each Master’s program listed will accept a minimum of nine credits of law credit as electives toward the Master’s degree and nine credits of Master’s credit can be counted as elective toward the J.D. This reduced the overall credit requirements between both degrees by at least 18 credits.
