The Law School Courtroom

The Law School's balconied courtroom, situated in the middle of the building, is the architectural focal point of the Law School. The courtroom is fully wired with state-of-the-art video-conferencing technologies, and has an adjoining audio-visual control room and judges' chamber. The courtroom serves as a classroom, an assembly hall for the student body, a venue for the Law School to hold conferences including the Indian Law Symposium which is a bi-annual event. The South Dakota Supreme Court's March term of court is held in the courtroom annually.
