COMTEMPORARY
PAINTINGS
The art displayed in the library is on loan from the College of Fine Arts permanent gallery collections.
Of special interest are two art works created by Bill Wold, a former U.S.D. Art Professor.
The artwork was commissioned by the College of Fine Arts' to commemorate the new library expansion completed in 1993.
Other noteworthy works permanently exhibited in the library are Grete B. Heikes "Quipu" an example of Andean rope art,
and Cryptesthesia #9, a work on handmade paper by Sue Carter Dahl.
