Databases

Access to these database and full text  journal holdings are available to researchers on your campus.  Your campus may have special access requirements.  If you have an access problem, please check with the reference librarian in your library.

• Biosis Previews (Web of Knowledge) 
  Bibliographic references with abstracts derived from life sciences research journals published worldwide.  
   
• Computers & Applied Sciences Complete (EBSCOhost)  
  Covers the research and development spectrum of the computing and applied sciences disciplines. CASC provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,900 academic journals, professional publications, and other reference sources from a diverse collection. Full text is also available for more than 840 periodicals.

  Leading scientific, technical, medical, and professional journals. Full-text access to USD's 47 Wiley titles. (title list) 
  * Each BRIN library contact was given several tokens to gain access to non-owned Wiley titles.  If you have any questions on how many tokens you have access to or how to use them, let us know.

Document Delivery

The USD Libraries will provide BRIN partners with document delivery services.  The library can deliver journal text and illustrations electronically to your desktop.  To request a specific article or book chapter, use this link;

Please note;  when filling out the Document Delivery form, all fields must be filled in.  If you don't know how to fill in any of the blanks, type in "not known" or a question mark--otherwise the form won't submit.

HighWire Press, Internet Imprint of the Stanford University Libraries. 774 free online full-text journals.

PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine, provides access to over 12 million MEDLINE citations back to the mid-1960's. 

PubMed Central (PMC)  is the National Library of Medicine's free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature.
