Books in Print - Access through the Internet via the South Dakota Library Network (SDLN).

To search this SDLN databases without entering a barcode and password you need to be using a computer located in a library (or on the USD campus) that subscribes to the database through PALS. If you are a patron of a library that subscribes to the database through PALS but you are using a computer located outside of your library or off campus, you will need to logon with your barcode number and password:

Your barcode number is a 14 digit number that can be found on your library card or student ID. It is located below an actual barcode on the card and always starts with a 2.

Initially, your password is your last name. If your last name is more than eight letters long, it is the first eight letters of your last name.

Database Description

Books in Print is a databases that contains over 2 million entries from Books in Print publications and addresses for more than 100,000 publishers. Books in Print Plus, located on LAN Stations in I.D. Weeks Library, contains reviews for many of the books listed.
