How to Access

Company Profiles on the South Dakota Library Network (SDLN).

To search this SDLN databases without entering a barcode and password you need to be using a computer located in a library (or on the USD campus) that subscribes to the database through PALS. If you are a patron of a library that subscribes to the database through PALS but you are using a computer located outside of your library or off campus, you will need to logon with your barcode number and password:

Your barcode number is a 14 digit number that can be found on your library card or student ID. It is located below an actual barcode on the card and always starts with a 2.

Initially, your password is your last name. If your last name is more than eight letters long, it is the first eight letters of your last name.

Database Description

Company Profiles is a subscription database that contains information on over 80,000 U.S. businesses. It includes information about both public and private companies, with the emphasis on hard-to-find private companies. The information in Company Profiles is updated monthly.
