How to Access

ERIC (SDLN) - Access through the Internet via the South Dakota Library Network (SDLN).
ERIC - Accessed via EBSCOhost on the Internet.
ERIC - Located on LAN Stations in I.D. Weeks Library.

To search this SDLN databases without entering a barcode and password you need to be using a computer located in a library (or on the USD campus) that subscribes to the database through PALS. If you are a patron of a library that subscribes to the database through PALS but you are using a computer located outside of your library or off campus, you will need to logon with your barcode number and password:

Your barcode number is a 14 digit number that can be found on your library card or student ID. It is located below an actual barcode on the card and always starts with a 2.

Initially, your password is your last name. If your last name is more than eight letters long, it is the first eight letters of your last name.

ERIC is a databases that contains over 900,000 citations for journal articles and documents in the field of education.
