Current Issues SourceFile contains the full texts of some 3,000 publications from advocacy groups, professional associations,private and university research institutes, and government agencies. For each source organization there is a brief profile describing the group's scope and mission. The database covers position papers and issue briefs, speeches, conference papers, congressional testimony and reports, articles from organization journals, and more. Publications of considerable length are represented by excerpts.

GPO Access services are provided free to the public via the federal depository library system or directly from GPO. GPO Access includes connections to and searching of a number of  government databases that contain the full-text of a variety of congressional and administrative documents.
