The University Libraries offers numerous services to support faculty and staff research and teaching efforts. Key tools such as the catalog and article databases can be accessed from the Library's Research Tools menu on each Web page.


Research and Teaching Support:
  • Contact a Subject Specialist - each faculty and staff member has a subject specialist librarian who serves as a liaison between the Libraries and the academic and administrative departments
  • Interlibrary Loan / Document Delivery - obtain books or articles whenever they are unavailable on USD campus or Wegner Center.
  • Rooms in the Libraries (research and dedicated) - find library spaces for group or individual study
  • Place a course reserve request - how to work with library staff to make your make course-related materials available for specific courses
  • LibGuides - find research guides created by the library experts
  • Managing Citations and Bibliographies - find help on using citation management software and formatting text in specific citation styles
  • Ask A Librarian! - contact the Libraries reference services
  • Academic Integrity in the Classroom - a selected list of resources for instructors and students
  • Copyright - basic information about copyright and scholarly publishing to support your activities as part of the USD community
