These databases include a wide variety of sources: popular magazines, scholarly journals, newspapers, and trade publications. Subject specific resources such as MLA for language and literature, ERIC for education, PsychINFO for psychology include citations to articles in these specific disciplines. These subject databases do not include citations to articles in popular magazines; they do include citations to articles in scholary journals, and, sometimes, books and chapters in books.
