William J. "Bill" Janklow served as South Dakota's Attorney General, four-term Governor, and US Congressman.  He died January 12, 2012.  In October 2011, Governor Janklow decided to deposit all his official papers and personal papers, audio-visual materials, and memorabilia at the University of South Dakota. Read more about the William J. The William J. Janklow Archival Project at the University of South Dakota is supported by the Janklow Archival Fund at the USD Foundation, Box 5555, Vermillion SD 57069. Contributions to this fund are used to support the preservation and access to the extensive collection of documents, film, video, and photographs from the public life and career of Bill Janklow.  Contributions are essential to efforts by USD to make the Janklow Archives available to undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and professional researchers beyond the campus. Please call 1-800-521-3575 for further information.
