Richardson Collection
About Collection
The Richardson Collection is made up of distinct manuscript collections. These papers include correspondence, photographs, journals, scrapbooks, maps and other manuscript materials. The manuscripts focus on South Dakota and the surrounding region reflecting on a wide variety of subjects but concentrating on people, places and events in South Dakota's cultural, political and economic history. The Richardson collection manuscripts often complement each other, and their research value is enhanced by the materials in the I. D. Weeks circulating collection, and in the Chilson Collection.
Search or Browse the Collection
Click on the database name under Select Database to choose the database you wish to search or browse. The header section above will populate with the content relevant to that database. In the instance of Case you will then have to select what you want to search or browse for from the dropdown. You can then enter a search or click on the Browse link. Beyond the content in the database there is more material to discover. After selecting a database above, click on anyone of the links along the bottom of the header to read more. You can return here at any time by clicking the Search/Browse Collection link on any page.
