Great news for genealogists and researchers!  Scanned photographs and information regarding Clay County Grade (Rural) School Graduates from 1896-1970 are now available in the Special Collections and Archives department of the I. D. Weeks Library.  The Archives is located on the third floor of the library, rm. 305. 

The photographs and data were generously donated by Mr. Marion Kryger of Vermillion.  Mr. Kryger spent three years compiling this information, and if patrons need further assistance to track down friends or relatives, please do not hesitate to contact him at (605) 624-4525 or the Clay County Historical Society at (605) 624-8266.
