Developmental Disabilities Network
The Developmental Disabilities Network in South Dakota is comprised of the Center for Disabilities, South Dakota Advocacy Services, and the South Dakota Council on Developmental Disabilities.
|The Center for Disabilities works with others to create opportunities that enhance the lives of people with disabilities and their families through training, services, information, research and community education. These activities are delivered across the lifespan from a community-based, family-centered and culturally-competent perspective|
|The mission of South Dakota Advocacy Services is "to protect and advocate the rights of South Dakotans with disabilities through legal, administrative, and other remedies."|
|The mission of the South Dakota Council on Developmental Disabilities is "to assist people with developmental disabilities to control their own destiny and to achieve the quality of life they desire."|
