Dietetic Internship - Program Outcomes

 The following graduate outcomes will be monitored for program effectiveness.

  • Program graduates will achieve an 80% pass rate on the registration exam over a 5 year period.
  • Within 18 months of program completion, 80% of alumni seeking employment will be employed in a dietetics related field.
  • Employers will rank former student's preparation as a "3" or better on a four point scale for 70% of the items on a survey.
  • 100% of program graduates will receive a grade of B or better in the two graduate courses required by the internship program.
  • 90% of the students will have attained a "3" or better on a five pint scale on all competencies required by ASCEND.
  • 95% of students who begin the program will complete the program requirements for verification within two months of the program completion date.
  • Questionnaire for program completers will indicate 15% of graduates are employed in rural, reservation or underserved areas.
  • Questionnaire for program completers will indicate 60% of graduates work with the elderly, persons with disabilities and/or Native Americans.
  • Questionnaire for program completers will indicate 80% of graduates are involved in interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Questionnaire for program completers will indicate that 50% of graduates are actively using research in their jobs or are involved in research activities.
