NOFAS-SD - FASD Family Network

The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Family Network works to strengthen relationships between families and communities by building partnerships and providing resources.
  • The purpose of the FASD Family Network is to ensure the success of children diagnosed with an FASD by enhancing the ability of South Dakota families and communities to respond to the individual needs of their children.
  • The FASD Family Network connects families to pre-existing FASD support groups in their area or assists people in developing a new FASD group in their area.
  • The FASD Family Network's FASD Listserv provides families the opportunity to share resources as well as allows NOFAS-SD staff a direct route to communicate with families about FASD resources, upcoming events and other FASD specific information. Check out our resources page for info on how to join the listserv.
  • The FASD Family Network disseminates information and resources on FASD to parent support groups statewide.
  • The FASD Family Network provides training and technical assistance to schools, professionals and families.
