Pediatrics - PGY3

Rotation Schedule: PGY3

(1 unit = 4 weeks; 13 units/academic year)

  • 1 unit – General Pediatric Inpatient Service (Teaching Resident)
  • 1 unit – General Pediatric Inpatient Service (Teaching Resident), Night Shift 
  • 1 unit – General Pediatrics Outpatient Service
  • 1 unit – NICU Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Supervising Resident)
  • 1 unit – Adolescent Medicine
  • 1 unit – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • 1 unit – Emergency Medicine
  • 1 unit – Community Medicine
  • 2 units – Subspecialty (one is "required" subspecialty)
  • 3 units – Electives: Subspecialty (can include Required Subspecialties)
  • Weekly – Continuity Clinic (36 sessions of 1/2 day, 26 weeks minimum)
