Pediatrics
The Pediatrics Residency has applied for accreditation and expects to learn of its future in late fall 2009. Admission of the first residency class is expected in the summer 2010.
Program characteristics
- Six residents accepted per year in 3-year training curriculum
- New state-of-the-art Sanford Children's Hospital serves as the training center
- Residents can take advantage of training and research opportunities at national and international Sanford Children's Clinics
- Residents work with medical students, family medicine residents, and other health care trainees
- Residents will be trained to enhance care of Upper Midwest children and prepare themselves for the most rigorous subspecialty fellowships
