From the Program Director
Welcome to 
the Pediatrics Residency Program at Sanford Children's Hospital!
Ours is a new program and the only pediatric residency program in the Dakotas, now in its second year of residents. Our faculty and residents are looking forward to this year's recruiting season since at its end we will achieve our program's first milestone, a full complement of first-, second- and third-year residents in July 2013.
The size of our program, six residents per year, allows faculty to encourage residents to develop their individual skills as a pediatrician. The distinctive health care characteristics of Sanford Health and the Dakota region give our residents plenty of opportunity to pursue pediatrics in rural, urban and global health settings, to engage in clinical research, and to develop administrative and advocacy expertise.
