Transitional Year Curriculum
Transitional Year is divided into 13 four-week rotations.
Rotations
- Internal Medicine – 4 blocks
- Emergency Medicine – 1 block
- Ambulatory Medicine – 1 block
- Electives – 7 blocks

- General internal medicine and subspecialties allergy, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, infectious disease, neurology, pulmonology and rheumatology
- ICU and eICU
- General pediatrics and subspecialties hematology/oncology, neonatology, developmental pediatrics, NICU and PICU
- Obstetrics and perinatology
- Gynecology
- General surgery and subspecialties gynecologic oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, plastic surgery, thoracic/cardiovascular surgery and urology
- Anesthesiology
- Dermatology
- Physical medicine and rehabilitation
- Family medicine
- Ambulatory primary care medicine
- Radiology
- Radiation oncology
- Nuclear medicine
- Pathology
- Adult and child and adolescent psychiatry
