VERMILLION, S.D. -- Students at the Sanford School of Medicine of The University of South Dakota have organized two concert performances to raise money for a scholarship fund in memory of the late Dr. Timothy Clark.
Clark died in January as a result of an automobile accident. He was an associate professor at the medical school and joined the faculty in 2000. Family and friends created the scholarship fund in his honor.
The benefit concert performances to raise money for the fund will be Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Farber Hall in Old Main on the Vermillion campus. The concert will feature vocals, piano, guitar and percussion – all performed by medical students.
Tickets are $8 each or $15 for two and will be available at the door. All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund. The public is invited.
