USD online MSA receives Best Buy grade from consumer group

VERMILLION, S.D. -- Students looking for a quality online master’s degree in management or business administration with an affordable price should look no further than the University of South Dakota. According to GetEducated.com, a consumer watchdog group that reviews and ranks online universities for cost, quality and credibility, USD has one of the “Best Buys” in the United States when it comes to online master’s degrees.

GetEducated.com recently released its 2012 “Top Ranked Best Buys” featuring USD’s Master in Science in Administration / Interdisciplinary Studies at No. 13 nationally, ranking with online offerings by Texas A&M University, Oklahoma State University, the University of West Virginia and Florida State University. The rankings were calculated by comparing publicly posted tuition and distance education fees at 56 regionally accredited and regional candidate universities in the United States that offer 94 master’s degrees through distance education in the career areas of management and administration.

According to GetEducated.com, this is a ranking of the least expensive online master’s and colleges do not pay to be included. Western Carolina University’s Master of Project Management earned the No. 1 ranking on GetEducated’s Best Buy list. The “Top Ranked” list is available at www.geteducated.com/online-college-ratings-and-rankings/best-buy-lists/best-buy-online-masters-management-administration.
