Script Reading Leads Off John R. Milton Writers Conference Oct. 27

VERMILLION, S.D. -- A reading of a one-act play created by a USD graduate will lead off events for the John R. Milton Writers Conference Oct. 27 at the University of South Dakota.

Amy H. Peterson, who writes under the pen name Ash Sanborn, is the playwright of “Maximalista.” She was an English major and studied playwrighting under the late Professor Wayne Knutson at USD from 1990-1994.

Students, faculty and staff are invited to contact Peterson about performing in the cast of the reading, which will be held Thursday, Oct. 27 at 4 p.m. in Farber Hall, located in Old Main. The reading will be script-in-hand in front of microphones.
