USD Career Development Center hosts third annual Career Fair |

| VERMILLION, S.D. -- The Career Development Center at The University of South Dakota will host its third annual Career Fair from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15 at the Muenster University Center Ballroom. |

| Dozens of local employers and organizations will be in attendance to answer questions about employment, part-time and full-time job opportunities, as well as internship opportunities.
“This is a chance for students to ask questions and explore career-developing possibilities whether it’s an internship, or a full-time or a part-time job," said Clarence Pederson, interim director of USD’s Career Development Center. “It’s a tremendous opportunity for students to network with potential employers and create a path to an exciting future.”
Organizations participating in the third annual Career Fair include AFLAC, Backyard Broadcasting, Inc., BPI, Inc., Mutual of Omaha, New York Life, Opportunities Unlimited, Polaris Industries, Results Radio, Sanford Vermillion, South Dakota Highway Patrol and Target Stores. An attendance fee of $5 will be charged to all non-USD students.
Located at Burr House on the USD campus, the Career Development Center is available year round for students to assist them with career and academic planning, employment strategies and graduate school applications. The CDC also assists students with internships, part-time jobs and providing detailed information on all types of campus organizations.
