commencement information

Congratulations on your graduation! The University of South Dakota will be holding Spring Commencement exercises at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2008. The ceremony will be held at the Dakota Dome.

Important Information
If you are exiting I-29 and heading West on Highway 50 we would advise you to take the Highway 50 Bypass as you get close to Vermillion due to construction on Business Route 50 or Cherry Street.  Take the Highway 50 Bypass to Dakota Street and turn Left (South) to the Dakota Dome.

Tasks to be completed by Candidates
Diploma Order Form -All candidates for graduation must fill this out, regardless if you are participating in the commencement ceremony or not.  E-mail, fax or mail as soon as possible.  We are unable to print and mail your diploma without this information.
Career Development Graduation Survey
Federal Perkins Loan Exit Exam Interviews - All students who borrowed a Perkins Loan while at USD must complete an Exit Exam prior to receiving their diploma.
