Veterans Transferring to USD
Welcome transfers! If you have used VA educational benefits at another institution, and plan on using them at the University of South Dakota, you are on the right page. The Veterans' Services Officer will certify your enrollment upon receipt of the following documentation.
GI Bill
- Fill out and be sure to sign the 22-1995 and return it to Veterans' Services at USD.

Survivors and Dependents
- Fill out and be sure to sign the 22-5495 and send to Veterans' Services at USD.

Vocational Rehabilitation
If you are receiving Chapter 31 benefits, please contact your case manager. Your case manager will provide us with a 1905, which we return to verify your enrollment.
