NMM 5348. Piccolo in E-flat (high pitch) by C. G. Conn, Elkhart and New York City, ca. 1899. Serial no. 3888. Wonder line. Boehm system. Two sections. Engraved on body: MADE BY C. G. CONN / ELKHART, IND. / NEW YORK / USQMD; stamped on upper end of body: 3888. Nickel-plated ebonite body; ebonite head joint lined with metal. Twelve nickel-plated keys. Closed G-sharp key; no B-flat key. Total length, 11-7/8" (302 mm). Purchase funds gift of Marjorie Beatty, Vermillion, 1992.
