The Comfort Inn and the Super 8 are about eight blocks away. The Goebel B&B is ten blocks. Valiant Vineyards and Westside Inn are more than a mile away, so we hope that you who will be driving cars will choose to stay in one of those two locations. In case of heavy rain, we will try to help by sending vans to pick up those of you who otherwise will be walking, although it has been our experience that there will be others staying at the closer motels who do have cars and will be willing to provide rides, as well. We will not be providing van service to the motels, when the weather is nice, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Dormitory Lodging A low-cost alternative is to stay in a dormitory room. The current rates are $21 per person per night, single occupancy, and $17.50 per person per night, double occupancy. Linens and towels are provided (no hangers in the closet, however!), but otherwise these are typical dormitory rooms with Men's and Women's bathrooms on each floor. There is 24-hour desk service and coin-operated laundry facilities. Air-conditioned. If you want a dorm room, please include a note to that effect, when you return your registration form.
