University of South Dakota Softball



The University of South Dakota Womens Softball team competes in the North Central Intercollegiate Conference. The NCC includes the following ten schools, North Dakota State University, the University of North Dakota, St. Cloud State University, Minnesota State-Mankato, South Dakota State University, Augustana College, Morningside College, University of Nebraska-Omaha, the University of Northern Colorado and the University of South Dakota. The Coyotes have finished fifth the last two years in the NCC. In 1998 the overall record was 40-22 and in 1999 they finished the year at 38-26.
The Coyotes return ten players from the 1999 squad. The 2000 squad also has 8 new players which include seven freshman and one junior.
