Being a member of a fraternity or sorority is about being part of something bigger than yourself. Sororities and fraternities are more than 200 years old. The first national Greek organization at USD was established in 1903. Currently South Dakota’s flagship liberal arts university is home to twelve Greek chapters. Although each chapter is different, all chapters share and pursue similar goals regarding academic excellence, leadership development, and commitment to the campus and community involvement.
