Discover USD This Summer!

The University of South Dakota offers a variety of summer programs designed to educate and inspire youth in a variety of academic, athletic, and extracurricular camps. Participants have the opportunity to expand their education and skills while making new friends and experiencing life at USD!

Kid's University

Kid's University provides academically oriented instruction and recreational activities to produce a fun summer learning environment for children ages 8 – 13.  Campers will enjoy a wide variety of academic subjects including art, technology, music, writing, science and math.  Planned activities for each theme will be age appropriate, with experiences becoming more challenging for older age groups.  Kid's University is a great way to keep your child physically and mentally fit over the summer.

Early Scholars:

The University of South Dakota's Early Scholars program encourages eligible high school students to earn college credit while in high school, which can be transferred toward a college degree program.  Advanced-level juniors and seniors interested in accelerating their coursework toward a college degree are encouraged to enroll in the Early Scholars program.  If you are not interested in college credit, USD offers a variety of other camps to enhance your leadership skills.

Athletic Camps:

USD Athletic camps welcome boys and girls ages 11 – 18.  All camps are held at the DakotaDome, South Dakota's premier sports facility.  USD's summer athletic camps offer a variety of programs to choose from. The schedule includes basketball, football, swimming and volleyball.
