I obtained my PhD. in Numerical Analysis at the University of Iowa in 1990 under the direction of Kendall E. Atkinson. My current research interest is in mathematical on models derived from ecological problems, predator-prey type of models and ecological networks algorithms. I collaborate with the the group of Mathematical Ecology at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso, in Valparaiso Chile and the with the Ecological Network group at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago Chile.
