I'm also a fan of his and would love any info.
I found a little bit on him from an interview at the Martial Arts Live
1997 festival in Columbus, OH.
In the interview he states that when he was younger he made his
living doing decathlons and Tae Kwon Do. He was working out at a Gold's
Gym in Venice and got into boxing. There was a call there for a boxer
in a movie and someone at the gym recommended him. He also has a
clothing line out in Canada called Ruthless, the phone number is
1-800-Ruthless. He also said that there is a TV show coming out as well as
another movie (which he will be the good guy for once), but I can't make
out the name of it. He also stated that his favorite movie was "I Come
In Peace" because he was like a kid in a candy store. He loves all the
action. I found out that one of the TV series will be a martial arts show
called "Ultima". I'm not positive of the spelling, but at least we know
what to look for.
Found a fan who has actually spoken to Matthias which puts her at the top
of my "way cool" list! My
thanks to Lucy for the
following info:
I can give you some information, although it's really hard to find
some. Although I don't know his birthday, he told me that he is 38
years old now. He's born in Mainz/Germany and he used to run a gym there
before he decided to leave Germany in...let me think... I guess it
was 1988 but I'm not sure. Then he worked as a stripper and bouncer
for a short (?) period of time.
His first movie was "Big Top Pee Wee" where he had the role of a Lion
Tamer (it's a weird movie). I'm sure he appeared in
"Dragnet" carrying a barbell across the beach (Muscle-Beach,
Venice).
Also thanks to Agnes

Hi there! I just found your Fan Page and I really like it, because I'm a
fan of Matthias also. Until now I saw 5 movies with him. My personal
favorite is Death Match. The big one does a lot of great fighting and
has a real acting part. He is one of the bad guys, so he loses in the
end (a real shame) but half burned to pieces .... well, no wonder.
Black Belt is also great. My favorite scenes are at the beginnig and the
end also.
