Message From Matthias

I got the following info in an email from Matthias in August 1999.

Hi,

My name is Matthias Hues and I just saw this fan page the first time and I want to congratulate you on your site and how well you have put it all together; it is people like you who make my job worthwhile and I really want to thank you.

I will be out of town for a while to shoot the movie "The Legions" which is a horror movie in the style of "From Dusk Till Dawn".

Just recently finished a film with Eric Roberts and Ron Perlman called "The King's Guards"; a period film; lots of swordfights etc.

Also played on the TV show Power Rangers in Space and I am set to do some more episodes; play a guardian of a magic book that has been stolen from evil forces to take over the universe; plenty of fighting and action on my way to get the magic book back.

Also the name of the film I finished last year where I play the good guy ala Mad Max on the water, which was filmed on the same ship from "Under Siege" with Steven Seagal; is called "Hostile Environment" also starring Brigitte Nielsen and Daren Shalavi from "Bloodmoon" one of the best fighters on screen in my opinion and a new star for sure! I don't know when it comes out but the producer is Allen Solomon.

Currently I am involved in a big film called The Song of Whales, a sci-fi action film with a budget of over a hundred million dollars, the biggest film so far I will be working on. I will be playing a character named Alec who helps the whales which are hunted down by a Japanese whale fleet after the ban of whale hunting had been lifted and the Japanese are out to kill them all; but the whales are sending signals into space and will be rescued from aliens with the help of a group of scientists and one beautiful woman hero which I am completely taken by. We will take on the task to save the whales and to keep them on the planet before the aliens can take them away. Starting date March 2000; release hopefully Christmas 2000. The cast will be an all-star cast; casting is done right now. I had the luck to meet the producer who is from Germany at cigar night at Arnold's and we developed a great friendship.

We also are developing a sci-fi tv series with the company "UFO" called Alienhunter; 2-hour pilot most likely will be shooting at the end of the year.

Well, my friend, that's all for now I can think of and thanks again for the great job you have been doing. Like I said, it's people like you we work for !!!

Best Regards,
Matthias
