Roasted Onions

Roasted onions are simple and delicious.  Peel enough to fill a
lasagna pan or roaster, slit the tops into quarters, put a pat of
butter on top of each onion, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and 
place in 350-375 degree oven for 30 to 45 minutes, or until
tender.

Tips for peeling onions:  1. Burn candle nearby (Hrothgar)
                          2. Refrigerate before peeling (Thomas macPaul)
