Judging and the People's Choice Award:
The goal of this event is to make the arts & sciences fun and educational. To that end, we
encourage artisans of all skill levels to enter their projects for judging. An effort is made to
use experienced judges from within SCA and from the art and artisan community. While
they will follow SCA A&S Faire judging criteria in their evaluation, they will not be bound
to that criteria in evaluating the entries.

Judging of the Youth Category will be done by Kevin Gunn, a local High School art
instructor from the Vermillion School District. We feel his experience better qualifies him
to take into account the age of the entrants in assessing relative skill and artistic ability.

The People's Choice Award can be bought this year. In front of each displayed entry will be
a clear voting receptacle. Upon registering, you will be given two pennies so you can put in
your two cents' worth. However, you can put in as much money as you like. Go ahead, stick
a five dollar bill in your wife's tally jar. It's worth it just to see the smile on her face when she's
called up as the winner. Be warned, another romantic may see this as just a challenge to see
who brought more cash. No checks allowed. Award will be based on who has the most
money in their jar at the end of the day. All monies collected will be donated to Principality.
